Stage 1 is designed to wake up the 2.8L Duramax and bring out the performance that feels like it should have been there from the factory. The added power and torque make a noticeable difference in how the truck responds, giving it stronger acceleration, better throttle response, and more confidence when getting up to speed, climbing hills, or passing slower traffic. The extra torque is especially useful in everyday driving, helping the truck feel less sluggish and more willing to move when you get into the throttle.
No modifications are required for Stage 1, so it can be installed on a completely stock vehicle without the need for additional hardware. It’s a simple way to make the truck feel more responsive and enjoyable to drive while retaining the factory hardware.
For vehicles that have had their emissions equipment removed, the tune can also be configured to accommodate those changes.
